Established in 1989, the Red Bud Inn makes its home in Nashville. The inn was founded by Stan Lucas, following in the footsteps of his parents who were innkeepers of another local inn. "I'm continuing to run things just like Mom and Dad did -- fresh line-dried linens and clean, comfortable rooms," Stan would tell you. In fact, comfort and tradition are what the Red Bud Inn is all about.
The structure itself was constructed in 1968 by twelve missionary students from Southern Georgia, installling wooden floors built to last and other distinctive touches. Its location makes it an ideal resting point between many attractions -- the excitement and energy of Bloomington, Indiana and Indiana University; the world renowned architecture of Columbus, Indiana; and of course, the Hoosier hospitality and natural wonder of Brown County and Nashville, Indiana.
 The Red Bud Inn boasts the best rates in town, offering friendly and courteous service and charming country decor. Its value is unbeaten, especially for patrons of the neighboring Little Nashville Opry. The Inn is within walking distance of an evening of live entertainment in an intimate venue at the Opry. In addition to country music, beautiful landscapes can be found at the nearby Brown County State Park. Every fall, visitors from around the country come to the area to soak in the colors of the trees blanketing the hills of Brown County.
